Exploring the Tao Te Ching

Service Description

In this 4 week course we are working with the ancient Chinese text Tao Te Ching (or Dao De Jing) Your facilitator will provide a short introduction on the cultural relevance and philosophical grounding of the text, then we will together read excerpts, reflect, meditate and discuss the material. We are using and comparing different English translations (Ursula K. LeGuinn, Stephen Mitchell…) to develop an understanding of the subtleties and nuances of the original text. No previous knowledge required, reading material will be provided
