Indulge in a heart-opening and creativity-enhancing ceremonial cacao session, guided meditation and pottery! Create with intention & transmute your tensions through creative energy. Pottery is an amazing way to express & set intentions. We focus our energy, we relax, all within an environment of play and exploration. It’s soft, sometimes it shifts and moves, it becomes something new, it surprises us – But there’s something magical in the concept of taking something from your mind or heart and working with it , and bringing it in to a 3-dimensional space. We can imagine it’s like working with massage – instead of working on the body and the physical tissue – we are taking our energy and working out the knots in our mind and emotions. Through touch and soothing strokes, we calm the nervous system and mind – making more space for creativity to blossom. NO ART EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY Why pottery? Used for centuries to heal the mental, physical and spiritual body . It is a natural plant medicine, with a high concentration of vitamins, minerals and is a powerful antioxidant. Cacao also increases blood flow to the brain as well as induces the release of feel-good chemicals. It enhances the immune system and lowers cholesterol and blood pressure. Naturally packed with caffeine, cacao gives you a burst of energy that helps you focus and improve your memory. Big creativity enhancer and facilitator of deep inner meditation and connections – especially to the heart and the world around us! *Please consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding the use of cacao and notify our facilitators or the sanctuary. It is also not necessary to drink cacao to partake in the session! How to prepare? - Have a light, healthy breakfast which could consist of fruits, porridge, cooked vegetables etc. - Avoid dairy and excessive caffeine - Drink extra water before and after drinking cacao - Bring a journal if you want to note some insights - Cosy comfortable clothes. What to expect? - Opening and Closing - Guided Meditation - Sharing Circle - Space to relax and rest, exactly as you are.
